Lamppu tries to lose weight! .... again.

Ask me anything   BUT THIS TIME I HAVE A GOAL!

I'm going to my best friend's father's wedding in sometime 2013 summer and I don't want to look like a sausage.

I'll mainly post pictures of my progress here, so be warned - I'm not a pretty sight. Oh, and besides pictures, perhaps some thoughts and feelings of this whole thing.

I was gonna take a picture of the whole dish but I accidentally started to eat, before I remembered. :——D
but it was good. There was some broccoli and mushrooms around 4 small boiled potatoes and (fat free) ham. 
I also drank a cup of green tea with it. 
It had abt 240 calories.

That doesn’t seem too bad… I just don’t really like mushrooms or asparagur and I’m not much of a tea drinker either xD But I do love yoghurt! And pineappels are good! And they are also a natural diuretic. :)

I love mushrooms. (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) what comes to asparagus, I have no idea what it tastes like, but I’m gonna learn that today.

Tea is one of the few things I enjoy in life. I remember chugging down green tea like a total maniac back in 2008, so that’s not a problem, either. :D Just gotta make sure it doesn’t get lukewarm.

The last time I lost weight in 2006-08 I ate a lot of pineapples, carrots and apples. I sort of grew tired of carrots and apples, but fortunately I didn’t get tired of pineapples. :—-)

We’ll just have to wait and see how this goes. I’ll be posting the results, of course. :D

You guys ever heard of the 17 day diet? 
Before you misjudge me, it doesn’t last 17 days - it means that you change your diet every 17 days. I’m not sure how long it should last, but once I get hold of the book, I’ll know.
I heard about this diet on Dr. Phil (DON’T JUDGE ME I like to watch it sometimes haha) and thought about giving it a shot.
Here are some(meaning; not all) ingredients for the first 17 days
Oranges
Iceberg lettuce
blueberries and raspberries (I am so going to go pick some these fuckers from our forest back in Juupajoki because they’re expensive as ffffuck in stores)
mushrooms. Because fuck yeah shrooms.
canned white asparagus. I would’ve bought it fresh but the damn thing cost almost 5€ and canned was 2€ so I went with the cheaper option this time.
Low-fat turkey/ham. I had to go with low fat ham this time, because there wasn’t any turturkeykey. :—-(
Green tea
I started it today, and for breakfast I had half an orange and two scrambled eggs. 
I’m thinking of making salad for lunch, and then a slice of that ham with steamed veggies and shrooms for dinner. As a snack, I’ll eat fat free yoghurt with dem berries, and if I run out of berries eventually; pineapple. It’s so fucking good with yoghurt.

I’m sorry for being so inactive lately, but I haven’t exactly had the easiest time 

but, there are some news. I found a dress for Harri’s(Niina’s dad) wedding! I am not showing you a picture yet, because I have to lose some weight so it’ll fit, so you won’t be disappointed if I showed it to you now, and then I couldn’t wear it.

I mean it does fit, but it’s a little tight and I don’t like tight clothes. If I can’t lose weight in time, then I’ll find something else.

if I manage to lose the weight, I’ll post a picture of the dress. :—-) It’s a very lovely dress, and I would love to be able to wear it. I hung it to my curtains as a motivation. :—D

woo I have lost one kilo!

Feels awesome. I haven’t really been working out, but I try to walk as much as I can and eat well. So far it has worked. 

Today we’re celebrating my little brother’s 13th birthday, and we’ll have cake and watch a movie, but it’s the first time I’ve had any sweets this week, so I think it’ll be okay, if I don’t eat too much.

For some reason, I’ve lost my appetite

Well, it’s good for my weight loss, but it feels off when I pretty much have to make myself eat, since thinking about eating makes me feel somewhat .. nauseous? I don’t know, but it’s weird.

I’m not sure I like this.

I was at the gym today, you know, the gym that opened to my mom’s apartment  block. As you can see, it’s a bit down-to-earth, which was just fine with me. (this picture shows only one corner of the gym, there’s lots of other equipment)
We were there for 30 minutes, since mom can’t exercise longer than that, and I can’t go there without her since she has the key.
Besides spending that half an hour at the gym, I walked for 50 minutes today, so I guess that’s good?
Now I’m gonna eat. I’m hungry.

I’m trying to teach myself to drink milk daily

for some reason, I stopped drinking milk when I moved to my own place for the first time in 2009, and haven’t really been drinking it since.

so, now I’m trying to fix that

because milk is freaking good

I know! I have this same problem. I love milk! I think it’s great! But for some reason everytime I buy 1l carton of it… I just forget it in the fridge?! Then it goes bad naturally… But if I happen to buy any less, like 0,5 or 0,2 liters it’s not enough! :D
So I rarely drink milk at home, I mostly make pancakes out of it. But I do drink it lot at school :3

haha, that’s actually what happened to me too, though I don’t make pancakes from it.

but now I’m trying to fix that. So far I’ve only managed to drink one glass a day, but it’s better than nothing, I think?
